Use Mico offline

What keeps working without a network connection, and what waits until you reconnect.

Mico can record meetings and manage notes without an internet connection. Transcription, summaries, and chat run in Mico's cloud service, so they wait until you are back online.

What works without the internet

  • Create and edit notes.
  • Record and play meeting audio.
  • Export memos, summaries, and transcripts already on your computer.

What waits for a connection

  • Transcription. Recording continues while you are offline. Mico keeps the pending audio on your computer and uploads it for transcription when the connection returns.
  • Summaries and chat. Mico creates the summary once the transcript is available. Chat needs a connection to answer.
  • Google and Outlook calendar sync, cloud sync, and share links.

Leave Mico open after you reconnect so it can finish uploading the audio from the offline part of the meeting.

Pending transcripts also sync in small batches. You do not need to sign out or import your notes again to recover those changes.
