EspañolImport audio or a transcript
Turn an existing recording or subtitle file into an Mico meeting note.
You can use Mico with a conversation that was recorded elsewhere. Import audio to create a new transcript, or import an existing transcript to create a summary.
To move many existing meetings from another meeting assistant, use Import meeting history instead.
Import audio
- Create a New Note or open an empty note.
- Open the ••• menu and choose Upload audio.
- Select a supported audio file.
- Leave Mico open while it imports and transcribes the recording.
You can also drag one audio file onto an open note.
Mico accepts WAV, MP3, OGG, MP4, M4A, FLAC, WebM, and AAC files. It uploads the audio in segments and transcribes it in Mico's cloud service, the same way as a recording.
When transcription finishes, Mico creates a summary.
Import a transcript
- Create a New Note or open an empty note.
- Open the ••• menu and choose Upload transcript.
- Select a WebVTT (
.vtt) or SubRip (.srt) file.
Mico adds the timed text to the note and generates a summary. Importing a transcript does not create an audio recording.
If an import does not start
Confirm that the file uses one of the supported formats. Audio imports also need you to be signed in with an active plan or trial and connected to the internet.
See Transcription and AI for how transcription works or Troubleshooting for common failures.
