Import meeting history

Bring notes and transcripts from another meeting assistant into Mico.

Meeting-history import brings past meetings from another meeting assistant into Mico notes, through a direct connection or from its export files. It is designed for moving a library of past meetings, not for uploading one recording.

To import one audio, SRT, or VTT file, use Import audio or a transcript.

Connect an assistant

Mico imports from Granola, Fireflies.ai, and Read AI, the sources tested end to end with real accounts. They always appear in Settings → Imports.

  1. Open Settings → Imports in Mico.
  2. Click Connect & import next to the assistant and authorize Mico in your browser.
  3. Mico imports your history. While Mico is running, it checks for new meetings every few minutes and imports them automatically.

Use Sync now to check right away, or Disconnect to stop importing. Use files imports export files from the same assistant instead.

Import exported meetings

  1. Export your meetings from the original assistant.
  2. Open Settings → Imports in Mico.
  3. Next to the assistant, click Use files.
  4. Select one or more JSON, CSV, Markdown, text, VTT, or SRT export files.
  5. Review the result shown when the import finishes.

The exact content depends on the source export. Mico keeps supported titles, dates, notes, summaries, transcripts, speakers, and participants when those fields are available.

Understand the result

When an import finishes, Mico sums it up in one sentence: how many new meetings it brought in and how many were already there, or how many need review and how many could not be imported. If nothing changed, it says everything is already there. Each assistant also shows its last import: how many meetings were added and how many were left unchanged.

You can select the same export again. Meetings that were already imported are not duplicated.

What is not imported

Meeting-history import reads text-based exports. It does not copy the original audio or video.

If you only have an audio recording, upload the audio to an empty note and let Mico transcribe it.

If your assistant is missing

Mico offers only Granola, Fireflies.ai, and Read AI, even if other assistants are installed on your computer. From any other assistant, export the transcript as SRT or VTT and import it directly.

See Troubleshooting if no supported app appears or an export fails.
